About us
Protecting kids online
Xooloo is a French company created in January 2000 to protect children on the Internet. Xooloo has soon thought that kids and teenagers would be increasingly connected on networks. Xooloo has the ambition to secure the access to the Internet for kids from the multiple devices and places they use to connect.
A leading company in the parental control technologies
Continuously investing in its high-level filtering technologies, Xooloo has became one of the leading companies in the sector of the protection of minors. The company collaborates with the private and public stakeholders to encourage a better coordination of the initiatives taken by the authorities in the field of Internet safety for children. Xooloo works hand by hand with public organizations and key accounts in the Mobile and Internet field thanks to a wide panel of products and services. There must be a tailored solution for you too.
What applications does this include?
For schools: Xooloo provides local authorities with a unique Internet filter service for schools. The service is activated remotely, requiring no hardware or software investments. Over 1,000 schools have already been equipped.

For homes: Xooloo provides its parental control service to large number of Internet service providers in France and abroad. A Web site dedicated to families is also available at: http://www.xooloo.net

For libraries, youth recreation centres and other public Internet access venues: Open access to computers in public places brings out the problem of “inappropriate” content. Many cities have chosen to take action by equipping their Internet public-access zones and municipal Wi-Fi stations with Xooloo.

For children’s hospitals: Xooloo and the association Docteur Souris have put their heads together to offer hospitalised children secure Internet access. This enables them to navigate the Web from their hospital room, using laptop computers provided to them by Docteur Souris. Six hospitals have been equipped, for the time being.

For your mobile: Xooloo supplies parental control for mobile phone operators, to protect your children as they browse mobile content.
Some of our institutional clients:
- Xooloo has signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Education to protect children’s access to the Web in schools.

- The parental control software Xooloo has consistently ranked first in the tests carried out by the Ministry of Family.

- Xooloo has been distinguished by the Ministry of Industry, which gave it the Oppidum Label.

- The Brisset Report, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, states that Xooloo “sets the standard by which every online protection tool for minors should measure itself”.
